This submission comes from two 19-year-old emcees from Michigan.  Galaxy X & Downright Kris don’t seem to be following the flow style of most modern rappers.  Focusing more on lyrical competence and being understood, their style seems to mirror that of some of the early 90’s rappers who had a story to tell through their music that was more than about just money and hoes.  More than backpacking concept rappers, these two are well on their way to establishing a type of music cred that is hard to come by in the day.
